I am not a big fan of pizzas, however my parntner have changed my view on it. So today I am going out with afew of my male colleagues to try out this pizza place called “Made in Italy” which located in a little alley way rignt on top of wynyard station. The reason I have stressed the word ”male” colleagues is because majority of males seemed to like pizza and if you ask their opinion on pizza, most likely it will not be as subjective. I am looking forward to this pizza experience and will definitely make my honest opinion on it.
Yep! I have tried it, my first time! Had a small Capricciosa for $10. I ordered a small one purely due to a colleague recommended that a medium size one will fill up a big bloke. The place was full of …yes male customers, I am not surprised. there was no tables or chairs there but rubbish bins tipped upside down used for chairs. we ordered our pizza in advance and when we got to the place we waited for approximately 15 minutes until our pizzas arrived. It was worth the wait! The first sight wasn’t too impressive, just an ordinary pizza with a thin crusty base. Then when I bite into it, it was a different story. Very light in taste but can still feel the taste of the fresh ingredients, unlike the other pizzas with a layer of oil on the top. It looks healthy and taste healthy without being bland. One thing I really noticed is that after I completely finished the whole pizza I don’t crave for a drink. usually when I eat out around the city for lunch, most of the time I needed to drink lots of water after the meal due to the excess of salt and oil in the food. So I give this pizza experience 4 out of 5 rating. One thing that I am not quiet satisfy is that the samll pizza is not even enough for a small person like myself.
